SO WHAT NEXT?
By Joan Okoye.

Helloooooooo… Yes I know I have been M.I.A from zee blog but it has been a rollercoaster period in my life. It has been one hell of a ride but thank God.

This time last year, I was so eager to be done with school because I had had enough. The exams, the homeworks, the driving (yes I drive almost an hour to school every day) and the lack of sleep. It was just too much.

Finally, fast-forward to one year later, the time came and we walked on that stage happy to say goodbye to everyone. There is not much to say other than I GRADUATED… WHOO WHOOO… CLASS OF 2015.

No more excuses for not making blogposts anymore even though work is taking its toll on me but God pass them sha. We will make out time.

This brings me to the title of this post. Ever since I graduated, I have had this question thrown at me a million times and my response,,,,,,”I DON’T KNOW.. I begin to ask myself, I’m I supposed to have figured out my path before graduating? What I’m I doing wrong?

Everyone that already have their path figured out, y’all the real MVP because as for me, I have no clue.

Now do not get me wrong. I do have plans on what I want to do but the question is how do I go about those plans? Where do I begin? Who do I talk to and many more. I know I will accomplish my goals but God’s grace but all talk and no hardwork gets you nothing.

Or better still I might just go get married.. LMAO. Just kidding.

As for the day of my graduation, it was well-spent with my family and friends (well, parent’s friends as I do not have friends where I live). After that day, It was back to the hustle and bustle of the J.O.B.

See you on the Next Post!!!!

I’m here to bring you few essentials that one needs even if you decide to donate your clothes to your cousin’s cousin (thank you tuface).

SUNDAY OUTFIT OF THE DAY: THE FUR LIFE
By Joan.

Whazzappppppp *Martin's voice* lol... How una dey? Sunday was a little bit chilly for us so i decided to obey small rule and dress according to the weather as per say I watch weather channel before church... Every Sunday before church, I always look for what I will wear. (problem of having too many choices and yet we still complain). So I decided to go simple with some umphhhh... which is where this fur comes in. Can you guys believe where I got it from?

Wait for it... wait, wait.... The THRIFTSTORE.. Yep.

People see the thriftstore as one kind of forbidden place and so if you shop there, then its either you poor or you do not make enough in whatever job you do. But I'm sorry if ever in your life you shopped at any bend-down-select in Nigeria and you are now forming for us then my God will judge you.

Anyways back to my FUR, I love the color and also love the fact that it's not long. This is looking like its going to be a staple for me this fall/winter season.

Enjoy the pictures:)

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES GROWING UP IN NIGERIA

So out of boredom, I decided to engage myself by reminiscing over my childhood years growing up in Nigeria.
First of all, if you Nigerian and your parents decided to ship outside Nigeria at the age of 2, my dear, your parents do owe you some memories ooo...lol. They took away some precious parts of your life forget all these them say them say about Naija.
Okay so my most fun childhood days were between 1992-2002/3. These were the years the best naija games were invented. The running-around free days. Once you done with your chores after school, omo na play things .
The games were what made my growing up fun of course plus the stupid things we did then. Now follow me so we could play virtually together.lol

MEMORY LANE

1) Police and thief- This game was the ish back then. Imagine us dey fight for who go be police and who go be thief. Police go go find stick gun while the thieves would go obviously find something to steal.
2) Mummy and Daddy- Who no play mummy and daddy? lmaooo. free tapping of current. Chai may God forgive them. I no follow oo
3) Street soccer- No boy or girl in this game. Especially when you end up being the last to be chosen. awww. E go be like say make ground open make you enter.
4) Ten-Ten- See girls serious with this one. It was one of my best games.
5) Suwe- This is the tortue game. If your enemy decides to buy a house between 4 or 5, then you in trouble because when its time to close your eyes to buy your own house, you can't because you can't jump with your eyes closed.
6) Jump rope (we call it skipping rope)
7) Flip
8) My mother and your mother went to the market, my mother pinched your mother on the hand- if you do not remember this then bye..
9) Remember Cadbury Saturday mornings
10) Remember Christmas period when we stylishly turn into beggars going from house to house for money and then our parents would collect our money.

There are many more that I cannot remember at the moment but please let me know, what is your most memorable moment growing up?

As always see you on the next post :)
